Chief Executives’ Meeting 2012 – New information

The 7th Meeting for Chief Executives, National Directors, Secretaries General or equivalent positions will be hosted hosted by rdp – Ring deutscher Pfadfinderinnen- und Pfadfinderverbände (Germany) from 13 to 14 November 2012 at andel’s Hotel, Berlin, the venue of next year’s European Guide and Scout Conference.

The aim of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for senior staff in Associations to come together and share experiences, challenges, best practices and questions. It is not a training event. The target audience is the senior professional leadership of Associations at the level of Chief Executive or equivalent and their immediate deputies.

The Regional Directors of the European Scout Region (WOSM) and the Europe Region WAGGGS will facilitate this meeting, but all participants are required to actively contribute to the programme.

So far, suggestions for the programme include:

  • Funding, foundations and corporate social responsibility
  • Using the development potential of recession for growth
  • Development of leadership in associations

Interested Chief Executives, National Directors, Secretaries General or equivalent executives should complete the programme section of the application form to give us an idea of their particular interests and to indicate sessions or topics that they would like to offer.

Preliminary information about the event is available in English and French.

Please ensure to return the duly completed Application Form (available in English or French) before 13 October 2012, when it should reach the European Regional Office of WOSM.
