As announced in Circular 10/2012 and in view of the upcoming elections of the new European Scout Committee, the European Region will organise a Briefing Meeting for individuals and NSOs considering a candidature.

It will take place at the “Centre protestant de Cartigny”, in Cartigny, Geneva, over the weekend 10-11 November 2012. Lidija Pozaić Frketic and George Hourdakis, two former Members of the European Scout Committee, will be facilitating the Meeting. In addition, participants will have the possibility to follow as observers the proceedings of the European Scout Committee, which will meet during the same time for a regular session.

Please remember that the purpose of this Briefing Meeting should not be seen as a place to announce candidatures, but that it should rather be seen as an opportunity to help potential candidates and their NSOs to make informed decisions.
