WOSM European Agora 2019

The 2019 edition of Agora, the European Scout Region’s peer-organised event for representatives of the senior age section of NSAs and NSOs will take place at the Banská Štiavnica Scout Centre in Slovakia from 10 to 14 April 2019. Members of the senior age section will discuss age section related best practices and challenges encountered in their associations.

Partnerships Event 2019

The next edition of the European Scout Region’s Partnerships Event will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 4 to 7 April 2019. Representatives of NSAs and NSOs from the European and other Regions of WOSM will review existing and discuss potentials for future bilateral and multilateral partnerships.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – RoverNet VentureNet Network Meetings 2019 (Regional Circular 15 2019)

The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is happy to launch this Call for Participants for  the 7th edition of RoverNet and the 4th edition of VentureNet Network Meetings, which will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, from 9-12 May 2019.

This event is a great opportunity for all National Commissioners in charges of Venture and Rover age sections (or members of their respective national teams) to meet and exchange knowledge, experiences, add contacts and build bridges for future international collaborations. Make sure to register before 2 April 2019.

International Commissioners’ Forum 2019

The European Regional Committees of WAGGGS and WOSM have agreed that they will organise, in cooperation with Savez Izviđača Srbije (Савез Извиђача Србије, the Scout Association of Serbia), the International Commissioners’ Forum 2019 with a number of objectives including:

  • Providing an opportunity for sharing experiences between International Commissioners;
  • Provide a platform to offer induction training to new International Commissioners;
  • To provide an opportunity to review progress on work resulting from the strategic partnership and to inform planning of future work in partnership;
  • To stimulate new ideas, tools and services.

The IC Forum 2019 is scheduled to take place at Hotel 88 Room in Belgrade, Serbia, from 22 to 24 February 2019.

The participation fee is subject to the desired accommodation at the hotel:

  • shared twin room EUR 336 (EUR 112 per night)
  • single room EUR 470 (EUR 157 per night)
  • shared triple room EUR 306 (EUR 102 per night)

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – Partnerships Event 2019 (Regional Circular 10 2019)

ASDE Scouts de España in collaboration with the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movemnet (WOSM) on behalf of The Partnerships Network and in cooperation with the previous and next hosting organisations, are pleased to invite you and your partner organisations to the Partnership Event 2019, which will be held from 4 to 7 April 2019 in Madrid, Spain.

This event is organised by The Partnerships Network, a coalition of Scout and Guide associations, which aims at fostering, strengthening and developing partnerships between associations in Europe and associations from other regions of the world. The overall idea of the network is to share and create information about ongoing partnerships, as well as to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge. A continuing reflection on the relevance of partnerships, as well as the promotion of intercultural understanding and mutual respect are central elements of the Partnership Network.
