Overture Diversity Network – Autumn 2016 Meeting

As the Overture Diversity Network’s Steering Group, we have the pleasure to invite you to the next Overture Diversity Network Meeting in Dublin, Ireland. This meeting will be hosted by Catholic Guides of Ireland (CGI), from 14 to 16 October 2016.

The steering group and hosting team have planned a great weekend around our subject of ethnic and social diversity and disability. The meeting will be an opportunity to meet open- and likeminded Guides and Scouts working in this area across the European Regions of WOSM and WAGGGS.

We very much hope to see all of you, new and old, networking to make the European Regions more open and inclusive.

A registration form for the Overture Diversity Network Meeting is avaialble on the website of the Catholic Guides of Ireland.

Update:
The Overture Diversity Network’s Steering Group is pleased to announce that some funding was received from WAGGGS to assist in the running costs of the meeting. The participation fee is therefore lowered from EUR 95.00 to EUR 80.00.

Regional Circular 12 2016 – Call for Partners: Erasmus+ Project linked to the Paris Declaration and Work with Refugees (deadline: 22 April 2016)

This circular provides you with information about the upcoming application for an Erasmus+ grant focusing on inclusion of young people and in particular new arrived migrants, for which your NSO/NSA can be partners.

To be able to be a partner in this project, please check carefully the requirements indicated in Circular 12 2016 and follow all the steps described. The application will be submitted at European level by the World Scout Bureau Europe Support Centre, Brussels.

Scouting for All – Training on “How to involve young people from excluded groups?”

As second activity supported by the Council of Europe – European Youth Foundation for the implementation of European Scout Region’s Work plan on Diversity & Inclusion we will be organising The Scouting for All –Training on “How to involve young people from excluded groups?”. The training will be held in Kapraluv Mlyn, near Brno, Czech Republic, 28 May – 31 May 2014.
