CALL FOR PARTNERS – The Academy 2019 (Joint Communication 03 2019)

The European Scout Region of WOSM and the Europe Region WAGGGS are please to share with you information about the next Erasmus+ application to which your Member Organisation can become a partner: The Academy 2019. The application will be submitted by WAGGGS Europe, which will also be the lead coordinator of the event.

The Academy 2019 is scheduled to take place in Bled, Slovenia, from 2 to 7 November 2019. Please make sure to signal your interest to be considered partner to this project before the deadline – 12 April 2019.

PROJECT COMPETITION – Hand in Hand. Stronger together (Regional Circular 34 2018)

As you know, the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) together with its partners in the Time To Be Welcome project is organising the Hand in Hand. Stronger Together event taking place 7 – 10 December 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. Within the scope of the event, the last day (10 December 2018) is dedicated to the dissemination and visibility of the work done in Europe to include refugees and migrant minors and youth in Scouting and other youth organisations. This activity will take place at the European Economic and Social Committee premises with the presence of the European Commission Vice President Jyrki Katainen.

As a culmination point of the event, a competition of best projects aiming at welcoming refugees and migrants in Scouting and Youth organisations is organised. All prizes will celebrate actions involving young volunteers and will target displaced young people in general, indifferently of their legal status in Europe (refugees, asylum seekers, migrants…).

CALL FOR ERASMUS+ PROJECT PARTNERS – Growth Event 2019 (Updated Regional Circular 17 2018)

The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is pleased to share important information on the upcoming application for an Erasmus+ project grant, for which your NSO/NSA can be a partner: the 2nd Growth Event of the European Scout Region, which is scheduled to take place in France from 23-26 May 2019. The funding application will be submitted at the national level by the relevant hosting NSO.

The deadline for your expressions of interest and submission of relevant documents is Saturday 1 September 2018.

All relevant information, including a link to the specific mandat which interested potential partners need to complete, is available in the Updated Regional Circular 17 2018.

CALL FOR PARTNERS for a large Erasmus+ Project on Youth Participation (Regional Circular 11 2018)

The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement is launching a Call for Partners for a large Erasmus+ Project on Youth Participation!

Regional Circular 11 2018 contains  all important information should your National Scout Organisation or National Scout Association consider becoming a partner in this project. Should this be the case, please check carefully the rules indicated in the document and follow all the steps described. The funding application will be submitted at the European level by the WSB Europe Support Centre, Brussels.

The deadline for your expressions of interest is Friday 4 May 2018.

CALL FOR PARTNERS: two Erasmus+ projects in 2019 (Regional Circular 08 2018)

The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is launching a Call for Partners for two Erasmus+ Projects in 2019:

  • the Meeting of the Management of Volunteers in Scouting (MOVIS) Network (planned to be held in Estonia in May 2019)
  • and the European Agora (planned to take place in Slovakia in April 2019)
