Many of you will already know that the Korea Scout Association (KSA) will be hosting its 14^th National Scout Jamboree near Daegu City from 3 to 9 August 2016 (see also: https://www.scout.org/node/181291).

In a communication sent to International Commissioners earlier this year, KSA launched Operation Daegu, through which three Scouts from three different associations in each of the six Regions of WOSM are invited to come to Daegu.

KSA will cover the following costs:

1. Jamboree registration fee
2. An economy class air ticket from international airport of his/her country to Seoul and back. The TICKET will be purchased and sent by KSA to the participant.
3. Food, inland transportation, cooking gear, Jamboree souvenirs and tent during the camp period.
4. Insurance (during the Jamboree period).

In order for a Scout of your association to be considered, please complete the short selection questionnaire  and make sure that it reaches the Europe Support Centre Geneva before 7 July 2016 (europe@scout.org, mentioning Operation Daegu). We will then confirm by 8 July 2016 whether or not your candidate is selected to represent your association and the entire European Scout Region at the 14^th Korea Scout Jamboree this coming August.
