Junák – svaz skautů a skautek ČR (the Scout and Guide Movement in the Czech Republic), the Europe Region WAGGGS and the European Scout Region of WOSM, on behalf of the ICT Network in the European Region are pleased to provide you with initial information about next year’s “Scouts & Guides I/O 2015″ (the annual event organised by the ICT Network previously known as “ICT Network Event”).

It will be the 4th event of the ICT Network and like in the past it will bring together National Scouting Organisations of WOSM and Membership Organisations of WAGGGS to share best practices in ICT for supporting Scouting and Guiding.

This time, the event will focus on growing the network and encouraging and supporting communication and technology partnerships between organisations and individuals.

Aims of the event

• Inspiring participants by sharing experiences, showcasing successful solutions and exploring trends
• Identifying and solving problems in areas where communication and technology expertise is relevant
• Encouraging and supporting communication and technology partnerships between organisations and individuals
• Providing external input to give a better perspective of our own actions
• Providing each participant with a learning experience
• Discussing and promoting the role of communication and technology in Scout / Guide organisations
