CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – MOVIS Network Meeting 2019 of the European Scout Region (Regional Circular 13 2019)

The Networking Meeting of commissioners involved in the management of adult resources is one of the well-known and successful networking opportunities for national leaders in the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). The event is now known under the acronym MOVIS (Management of Volunteers in Scouting) reflecting the wider area of interest of the network which goes beyond training.

2019 will see the eighth edition of this event in Tallinn (EE), from 23-26 May 2019, addressing issues of common interest for National Commissioners and other people who are directly involved at the national level in supporting the personal development of adults in Scouting. Make sure to register before 30 April 2019.

Suite au Crowdcast organisé le 5 février 2019 dans le cadre des préparations de la prochaine Réunion extraordinaire de la Conférence Européenne du Scoutisme, le Comité Européen du Scoutisme de l’Organisation Mondiale du Mouvement Scout (OMMS) a le plaisir de vous envoyer un Document de Discussion préparé par le Comité Européen du Scoutisme concernnant le débat Triennat vs. Biennat.Vous trouvez également, comme annexe au Document de Discussion, un extrait de l’Evaluation de la 15ème Conférence Européenne du Guidisme et du Scoutisme (#15egsc) qui a eu lieu en 2016 (ce document n’est disponible qu’en anglais).

Merci de bein vouloir noter que la version anglaise de ce document a été publié l’autre jour intitulé Regional Circular 12_EN 2019.

Following the Crowdcast held on 5 February 2019 in preparation of the upcoming Extra-ordinary meeting of the European Scout Conference, the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is pleased to share a Discussion Document prepared by the European Scout Committee on the issue of a Triennium vs Biennium.Also attached, as Annex to the Discussion Document, is an extract of the evaluation of the 15th European Guide and Scout Conference (15egsc)  held in 2016.

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS – Partnerships Event 2019 (Regional Circular 10 2019)

ASDE Scouts de España in collaboration with the European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movemnet (WOSM) on behalf of The Partnerships Network and in cooperation with the previous and next hosting organisations, are pleased to invite you and your partner organisations to the Partnership Event 2019, which will be held from 4 to 7 April 2019 in Madrid, Spain.

This event is organised by The Partnerships Network, a coalition of Scout and Guide associations, which aims at fostering, strengthening and developing partnerships between associations in Europe and associations from other regions of the world. The overall idea of the network is to share and create information about ongoing partnerships, as well as to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge. A continuing reflection on the relevance of partnerships, as well as the promotion of intercultural understanding and mutual respect are central elements of the Partnership Network.

CALL FOR PARTNERS – Erasmus+ Project: EU Youth Together (Regional Circular 09 2019)

The European Scout Region of the World Organization of the Scout Movemnt (WOSM) is pleased to launch a Call for Partners for a large Erasmus+ project linked to the European Jamboree 2020, for which your NSO/NSA can be a partner.

Please read carefully the description published in Regional Circular 09 2019 including the planned activities, as you will need to choose which events you would like to join as partner and send participants to. Please note that by applying to be a partner you commit your NSO to send at least one participant to the event. The funding application will be submitted at European level by the WSB Europe Support Centre, Brussels.

As the call for proposals is expected to be published by the EU institutions with short notice, a tight deadline must be followed also for the replies of the interested NSOs/NSAs. The deadline for your expressions of interest is Friday 1 March 2019.
