Since 1999, leaders involved at national level in the areas of youth programme and adult resources from all over Europe have gathered every two years to take part in the Forum on Youth Programme and Adult Resources. The Forum is one of the most popular events that takes place in Europe, and has a very special atmosphere due to the participants having similar interest on the educational aspects of Scouting and sharing backgrounds, challenges and concerns.

This WLDP event provides an opportunity for Associations across WAGGGS to explore the concepts and themes of leadership development in a variety of settings and backgrounds. The event brings together people in decision making positions within Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Associations to share experiences and learn from each other.  Since 1985, Sea Scout leaders from all over Europe have gathered every three years to take part in the European Sea Scouting Seminar (“Eurosea”). The 10th such seminar took place in the Czech Republic in Plzen in September 2010 and brought together 60 participants, planning team, and guests.
